Here's a short Lawrence Lessig article about Wilco, who's music I'm not very familiar with. I found it interesting because they've had success in the Music Industry though conventional means as well as using the Internet and related technologies.

They did big things while signed with Warner Music, got dropped when Warner thought they weren't hot anymore, used the Internet to keep their momentum, and then got re-signed once Warner rediscovered their value. They're currently nominated for some Grammy's.

Although any Wilco fan would laugh at how late I am (can't keep up with the kids these days), I'm now intrigued and will be paying closer attention to them.
